Emergency Response Training Facility


LawlerWood was selected by the Roane County Industrial Development Board to serve as developer and facility manager for a new emergency response training center to be constructed on a 20-acre site in Roane County Tennessee. ERTF is leased to Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC the operations and maintenance contractor for the Department of Energy’s Y-12 National Security Complex, where it conducts training for first responders and other experts in nuclear operations, safeguards and other high hazard emergency response. In addition to 45 offices for training personnel, the ERTF features twelve high tech training rooms, four light laboratories, and an 8,000 s.f. high bay training area. LawlerWood also provided all FF&E and electronic communications systems for the Project. EFTF was completed and occupied in November of 2022.
