Clayton Center for the Arts


LawlerWood represented a collaborative venture between the Cities of Alcoa and Maryville and Maryville College to create a fine arts performance complex that includes a 1,200-seat performance hall, 250-seat recital hall, 200-seat "Bench Box" flexible theater, three gallery/exhibit spaces, and grand lobby that can also be used for special events. Financing included funds from municipal, federal, and private sources. The project was successfully completed on time and within the $47M budget.
