Alcoa High School

LawlerWood was retained by the Alcoa School Board to develop a state-of-the-art instructional facility to become the new Alcoa High School. After analyzing twenty possible sites, a brownfield site adjacent to the current school was selected. A local development team headed by LawlerWood designed the new school and began construction in July 2013. The 180,000 s.f. project was completed in May 2015 ahead of schedule and under budget. Total project budget was $34,853,000, including a renovation of the football stadium, a new turf field, and the third largest Jumbotron in the state.
