Affordable Housing Projects

LawlerWood was founded in 1975 to develop affordable housing. The company developed nineteen projects under HUD's Section 8 housing assistance program during the ensuing ten years before shifting its focus to other commercial projects. In 1997, the company focused again on producing affordable housing using the Low Income Tax Credit Program. Through rennovations of existing properties and new construction, over the next eight years, LawlerWood added another 50 projects to is portfolio. In 2006, the company spun off it's affordable housing development and management operations into LHP Capital.
