LawlerWood was selected to plan, program, design, construct and equip a new 286-bed hospital for St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. St. Thomas is a member of Ascension Health, the largest not-for-profit health care organization in the United States. The project received national attention for its successful use of Lean Construction modeling, scheduling and Integrated Project Delivery Management tools. The hospital opened two months ahead of schedule and was completed under budget.
