Projects
The “Moses School” building in the Mechanicsville neighborhood of Knoxville was originally built in 1883 and was expanded in 1916. LawlerWood served as the Project Manager for Emerald Charter Schools when it acquired the property and returned the historic structure to its original use as Knoxville’s first charter school. The team was able to retain the entire historical exterior and many of the unique interior features that dated back to the early 1900’s while adding a fully operational kitchen, dining hall, technology driven library and classrooms.
