PROJECT UPDATE: LawlerWood has been selected to develop a new high performance computing center at the Livermore Valley Open Campus adjacent to the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. The HPCIC is the third major project LawlerWood has executed under the United States Department of Energy’s initiative to partner with private developers to design, construct, finance and manage facilities at sites critical to the mission of DOE’s National Nuclear Security Administration. The High Performance Computing Innovation Center will foster the Lab’s partnerships with academia and industry in the development of next generation exascale computing systems in a 112,000 sf multistory facility housing 350 employees and partners.
The Lawler-Wood team has submitted design and pricing for the HPCIC for approval by DOE and other governmental agencies and anticipates start of construction in the near future.
